The Lakewood Community Foundation Fund (LCFF) has grown to an $800,000 permanent endowment, raised by citizens and the business community of Lakewood.  Together, we strive to make a difference for Lakewood, to ensure that our city remains a safe and prosperous place in which to live, work, recreate and raise healthy productive children. The LCFF helps by providing funding to benefit and support the organizational network of our community.

So far in 2016, LCFF has awarded $18,000 in grant assistance to non-profit organizations serving Lakewood, with successful applicants achieving grant-enabled results that measurably improved quality of life in Lakewood.

2016 will be a great year for Lakewood. The LCFF is pleased to announce the following grants, were approved and distributed for the year as follows:

   • YMCA-Summer Swim Program
   • Caring for Kids – Ready to Learn
   • Communities in Schools – After School Program
   • Habitat for Humanity
   • Lakewood Lions – Springbrook Park
   • City of Lakewood – Springbrook Park
   • LASA Lakewood Area Shelter Association
   • Greater lakes Mental Health Foundation – ”Cops” Program
   • Emergency Food Network
   • Fish Food Bank

To date, LCFF has provided more than $94,000 in community grants, and $25,000 in student scholarships. Additionally we have facilitated completion of specific community projects with a combined value exceeding $300,000.

Vision: Connect donors with causes that make Lakewood a desirable community in which to live, work and play.
